IESCO Opens First Customer Facilitation Center

The Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) inaugurated its first state-of-the-art Customer Facilitation Centre at the company’s head office on Monday, offering a full range of electricity-related services under one roof.

The facility was formally opened by IESCO Chairman Dr. Tahir Masood and Chief Executive Engineer Chaudhry Khalid Mahmood, in the presence of board members Rana Abdul Sattar, Dr. Imtiaz Ahmed, Shahid Farooq, and Syed Faizan Ali.

Key Features of the Centre

  • Instalment plans for electricity bills
  • Extensions in payment deadlines
  • Correction of billing errors
  • Change of name or address on accounts
  • Registration and resolution of power outage complaints
  • Submission of applications for new electricity connections

Dr. Masood emphasized that consumers are IESCO’s foremost priority and highlighted the center as a step toward transparent, efficient, and dignified service delivery in a clean and welcoming environment.

He directed the chief executive and board members to replicate similar Customer Facilitation Centers across all IESCO operational regions to ensure uniform service standards.

Officers and staff were instructed to maintain a professional and courteous atmosphere so that consumers feel confident that their concerns are addressed promptly and effectively.
