A special software has been developed for online marking in educational boards across Pakistan, and the e-marking system has now been implemented nationwide.
According to sources, the online marking system will initially be applied to the Computer Science paper this year under a pilot project.
The Inter Board Coordination Commission (IBCC) has directed all educational boards to ensure implementation of the e-marking system.
IBCC officials stated that the specially developed software for the pilot project has been provided free of cost to all educational boards.
Following the successful completion of the pilot phase, all examination papers will gradually be shifted to the online e-marking system to improve transparency, accuracy, and overall quality of results.
