Federal Minister for Finance Muhammad Aurangzeb has expressed confidence that Pakistan will smoothly secure the rollover of its financial support from the United Arab Emirates, dismissing concerns about any potential hurdles in the process.
In an informal, exclusive conversation with ProPakistani, the finance minister stated that there is “no issue” regarding the UAE deposit rollover and assured that the extension would be completed without difficulty.
Aurangzeb also shared that the visiting delegation of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) is currently in Karachi and will continue discussions after arriving in Islamabad.
He welcomed the IMF’s engagement with Pakistan’s business community, terming it a positive development.
“It is encouraging that the IMF is meeting with the business community,” he noted, adding that upcoming discussions with the Fund are expected to take place in a constructive and positive environment.
