Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) issued a traffic advisory on March 2 regarding entry into the Red Zone.
ITP stated that entry into the Red Zone will remain open only via Margalla Road and the Marriott Hotel route. All other access points leading toward the Red Zone will stay closed.
Drivers coming from Club Road have been instructed to use Kashmir Chowk, then proceed through Srinagar Highway, Seventh Avenue and Margalla Road.
Those traveling from Barakahu have also been directed to enter through Kashmir Chowk and follow Srinagar Highway, Seventh Avenue and Margalla Road.
Citizens seeking updates may call the emergency helpline 15 or the Traffic Helpline at 1915. Live traffic information is also available on ITP FM 92.4.
