Gold prices in Pakistan declined on Tuesday after international bullion rates reversed Monday’s gains.
In the local market, the price of gold per tola decreased by Rs. 13,900 to reach Rs. 549,962.
Likewise, the price of 10 grams of gold declined by Rs. 11,917 to Rs. 471,503, according to the rates issued by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
On Monday, gold prices rose in response to market sentiments, with the per tola rate climbing Rs. 13,300 to Rs. 563,862.
On the global front, gold prices decreased further, with the international rate shedding $139 to $5,272 per ounce, including a premium of $20.
Meanwhile, silver prices in the domestic market also dropped. The price of silver per tola decreased by Rs. 1,146 to Rs. 8,904.
