Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced revised service schedules across the city for Eid Al Fitr, including free public parking and updated public transport timings from March 19 to March 21.
Public parking across Dubai will be free from the first to the third day of Eid, except for multi-storey parking facilities. Regular parking fees will resume from the fourth day of Eid.
Metro services on both the Red and Green Lines will operate from 5:00 a.m. to 1:00 a.m between March 18 and March 21, while on March 22, services will run from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 a.m.
Dubai Tram services will operate from 6:00 a.m. to 1:00 a.m. from March 18 to March 21, and from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 a.m. on March 22.
The RTA advised bus passengers to check updated schedules through the S’hail app. During the holiday period, Route E100 will not operate from Al Ghubaiba Bus Station from the afternoon of March 18 until March 22.
Route E101 will continue operating from Ibn Battuta Bus Station to Abu Dhabi, while Route E102 will operate from Al Jafiliya Bus Station to Musaffah from March 19 to March 22.
All RTA Customer Happiness Centres will be closed during the Eid holiday, except for the Umm Ramool Customer Happiness Centre and Smart Customer Happiness Centres. These centres will continue to operate 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Service provider centres, including vehicle testing facilities, will be closed from March 19 to March 21, with services resuming on Sunday, March 22. If Ramadan completes 30 days, the closure of service provider centres will be extended until Sunday, March 22.
The RTA said these measures aim to ensure smooth mobility and uninterrupted essential services during the Eid Al Fitr celebrations across Dubai.
