Xiaomi Redmi Note 15 Series Officially Launched in Pakistan

Xiaomi has launched the Redmi Note 15 series in Pakistan. Xiaomi Pakistan currently lists only the Redmi Note 15 and Redmi Note 15 Pro, priced at Rs. 69,999 and Rs. 94,999, while the Redmi Note 15 Pro+ 5G for the local market is slated to be coming soon.

Design and Display

The Redmi Note 15 sticks to a 6.77-inch AMOLED panel with FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Xiaomi is also giving it IP64 dust and water resistance, a side fingerprint sensor, dual speakers, and a 7.94mm body that weighs 183.7 grams.

The Redmi Note 15 Pro uses the same 6.77-inch size, but upgrades the front with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 and pushes peak brightness to 3200 nits. It also gets an in-display fingerprint scanner, IP65 protection, and a slimmer 7.96mm chassis.

Internals and Software

Under the hood, the Redmi Note 15 is powered by the MediaTek Helio G100 Ultra, while the Redmi Note 15 Pro moves up to the Helio G200 Ultra. Both phones run Xiaomi HyperOS, and the Pro adds WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, eSIM support, and a longer list of AI image tools.

This is where the gap between the local and wider lineup becomes more obvious. In other words, the Pakistan launch is currently centered on the Helio-based variants, while the faster 5G models are either delayed, or not yet listed on the official store.

Cameras

The Redmi Note 15 comes with a 108MP main camera, an AI depth sensor, and a 20MP front camera. It is clearly the simpler option of the two, but it still covers the basics expected in this price segment.

The Redmi Note 15 Pro is where Xiaomi starts to push imaging harder. It features a 200MP main camera with OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide sensor, and a 32MP selfie camera.

Battery and Pricing

Battery life looks like one of the strongest points of the Pakistan models. The Redmi Note 15 carries a 6000mAh battery with 33W charging and 18W reverse charging, while the Redmi Note 15 Pro gets a 6500mAh battery with 45W charging. On the official store, the base Note 15 is listed at Rs. 69,999 and the Note 15 Pro at Rs. 94,999.

Xiaomi also plans to sell an 8GB + 256GB Redmi Note 15 for Rs. 74,999, a 12GB + 512GB Redmi Note 15 Pro for Rs. 114,999, and a Redmi Note 15 Pro+ 5G with 12GB RAM and 512GB storage for Rs. 145,999. The phones are being sold through MiStore, Xiaomi Sale, Daraz, and CoreCart.

How the Pakistan Models Compare With the Chinese Versions

The local Redmi Note 15 actually gets one advantage over the international Note 15 5G, which is a larger 6000mAh battery instead of 5520mAh. However, the 5G version is slimmer, has stronger IP66 protection, and uses a Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chip.

The Redmi Note 15 Pro sold in Pakistan is closer to a middle version of the family. It keeps the 6500mAh battery and 200MP main camera, but it falls behind the Pro 5G and Pro+ 5G in chipset, display resolution, water resistance, and charging speed. Those higher models are listed with 6.83-inch 1.5K panels, flagship-grade ingress protection, and up to 100W charging, and are expected to be available in Pakistan in the coming days.
