PSL Star Batter Nears Babar Azam’s Record After Equaling Virat Kohli

Multan Sultans star batter Sahibzada Farhan delivered a match-winning performance with a brilliant unbeaten century in the 2026 Pakistan Super League (PSL 11).

The opening batsman equaled a T20 record held by Virat Kohli while moving closer to Babar Azam’s tally of centuries in T20 cricket.

Sahibzada Farhan scored an unbeaten 106 off 57 balls against the Hyderabad Kingsmen at Gaddafi Stadium. His innings included eight sixes and seven fours and marked his ninth century in T20 cricket, achieved in his 166th match.

With this knock, Sahibzada Farhan drew level with Kohli on the list of players with the most T20 centuries and now shares sixth place. More importantly, he reduced the gap to Babar Azam, who is second on the all-time list with 11 centuries.

South Africa’s Rilee Rossouw also has nine centuries, though he reached the mark in 393 matches.
