Tecno has launched the Spark 50 5G as part of its latest Spark series lineup. The device brings a large battery, 5G connectivity, and mid-range hardware, with sales starting April 3.
The Tecno Spark 50 5G features a 6.78-inch LCD display with HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The panel offers up to 560 nits of brightness and supports a 240Hz touch sampling rate.
On the back, the phone uses a horizontal pill-shaped camera module made from 6-series aluminum. It also includes a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. The device carries an IP64 Pro rating for dust and water resistance along with MIL-STD-810H certification.
It is available in Champagne Gold, Fantasy Purple, Ink Black, and Mint Green color options.
The phone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6400 chipset, built on a 6nm process, paired with a Mali-G57 MC2 GPU.
It comes with up to 6GB LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB UFS 2.2 storage, along with a microSD card slot for storage expansion.
On the software side, the device runs HiOS 16 based on Android 16.
Additional features include dual SIM support, 5G connectivity, dual-band Wi-Fi with 4×4 MIMO, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
The Spark 50 5G includes a 50MP rear camera with an f/1.85 aperture and an LED flash.
For selfies, it features an 8MP front camera placed in a hole-punch cutout.
The device is equipped with a 6,500mAh battery and supports 45W wired fast charging.
The 4GB RAM and 128GB storage variant is priced at $181, while the 6GB/128GB version costs $202.
