The National Highway Authority has announced revised toll rates for vehicles on national highways and motorways across the country, with the new charges set to take effect from April 5, 2026.
According to a notification issued by the authority’s Finance Wing (Revenue Directorate), the revised rates apply to multiple vehicle categories, including cars, wagons, buses, and different types of trucks across key routes.
For national highways, toll charges for cars have been set at Rs. 100, while wagons will be charged Rs. 200 and buses Rs. 300. Heavier vehicles such as two- and three-axle trucks will pay Rs. 350, while articulated trucks will be charged Rs. 700. Higher rates have also been notified for specific routes, including the Kohat Tunnel (N-55) and Indus Motorway (E-75).
On motorways, revised toll rates vary by route. For the Islamabad-Peshawar Motorway (M-1), car toll has been set at Rs. 700, while it will be Rs. 1000 on the Lahore-Abdul Hakeem Motorway (M-3) and Rs. 1300 on the Pindi Bhattian-Multan Motorway (M-4).
Similarly, toll charges for cars on the Multan-Sukkur Motorway (M-5) have been fixed at Rs. 1500, while rates on the D.I. Khan-Hakla Motorway (M-14) stand at Rs. 800. On the Hassanabdal-Havelian-Mansehra Expressway (E-35), cars will be charged Rs. 350. The notification also outlines revised rates for larger vehicles, with higher charges applied to wagons, buses, and multi-axle trucks across all motorway routes.
