Former champions Karachi Kings have confirmed the return timeline of UAE players Muhammad Waseem and Khuzaima Bin Tanveer during the ongoing 2026 Pakistan Super League (PSL 11).
Team director Haider Azhar stated that both players will arrive in Karachi on Tuesday. They are expected to be available for selection for the Kings’ upcoming match against Peshawar Zalmi on Thursday at the National Bank Stadium.
Earlier, sources within the Karachi Kings management had reported that the duo left for the UAE after being recalled by the Emirates Cricket Board (ECB). Both players were instructed to participate in the domestic D50 tournament.
Sources confirmed that the ECB issued a direct directive requiring the players to return immediately and take part in the ongoing 50-over competition.
However, the situation has eased for Karachi Kings, as both players are now expected to rejoin the PSL squad after playing two matches in the D50 tournament. Approval has been granted for their return following those fixtures.
So far, Waseem has played three matches in PSL 11. He scored a duck in the opening game against Quetta Gladiators, followed by 38 runs against Lahore Qalandars and 23 runs against Rawalpindi.
Meanwhile, Khuzaima has not yet made his PSL debut.
Karachi Kings, led by David Warner, currently sit at the top of the PSL 11 points table. The team has won all three of its matches, earning six points with a net run rate of 0.486.
