A new mandatory requirement has been introduced for passengers availing free travel on the Lahore Orange Line Metro Train in Lahore.
According to the administration, passengers are now required to carry a valid Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC) to use the free travel facility.
Officials said identity cards are being checked at every station, and passengers without proper identification are not being allowed to board the train.
The requirement came into effect on Sunday morning, along with tightened security measures across all stations.
Passengers have been advised to carry their original CNIC during travel to avoid any inconvenience.
