Pakistan Set for Historic FIFAe Nations League Debut

Pakistan’s eFootball National Team is set to make its historic debut in the FIFAe Nations League, marking the country’s first participation in FIFA’s global esports ecosystem.

Pakistan will take part in the ‘eFootball Console’, one of three titles that are part of the competition.

Six players have qualified to represent Pakistan in the competition, while Shahzaib Raza has been appointed as the team’s eSports manager. Qualifying Week 1 is scheduled to take place from April 14 to 16.

Pakistan have been drawn in Group A of the Asia (East) & Oceania Zone, where they will compete against Guam, Indonesia, Korea Republic, Myanmar, and Papua New Guinea.

Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) President Syed Mohsen Gilani confirmed the country’s participation in the FIFAe 2026 season, stating that it is an important step in maintaining Pakistan’s presence on the international stage.

He added that the federation aims to maximize this opportunity and expects it to support the growth of esports talent in Pakistan, particularly in football gaming.

The FIFAe 2026 season includes participation from over 120 countries across multiple titles. The competition begins with the FIFAe Nations League, followed by regional qualifiers, and leads to the FIFAe World Cup 2026.
