MG Motor Pakistan has teased an upcoming vehicle on its official social media platforms, signaling a new launch in the local market.
The teaser shows a darkened front profile of the vehicle, highlighting sharp LED headlights and a modern design. The company described it as “a new kind of power,” pointing toward a model focused on performance and advanced technology.
The company has not disclosed the model name, but the development follows the recent sighting of the IM6 in Pakistan, where the vehicle appeared inside a container with visible badging.
MG is expected to introduce IM models under its own branding, as the IM lineup belongs to Intelligence in Motion, a premium electric vehicle brand backed by SAIC Motor, Alibaba, and Zhangjiang Hi-Tech. SAIC, the parent company of MG, markets these vehicles globally under the MG name.
If launched, the IM6 is expected to bring high-end electric performance to the local market. Key specifications of the top variant include an all-wheel-drive system, acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in around 3.48 seconds, and a power output of up to 741 horsepower.
The vehicle is also expected to feature a 100 kWh battery pack with an estimated range of about 505 kilometers on the WLTP cycle, along with ultra-fast charging capability that can take the battery from 10 to 80 percent in approximately 17 minutes.
MG has not shared a launch timeline, but the teaser suggests that a new model introduction is approaching.
