The Punjab Government has decided to launch the “Made in Punjab” program to promote local products and accelerate industrial growth across the province.
Officials said the initiative aims to increase production, create employment opportunities, and strengthen the local manufacturing sector.
As part of the plan, recommendations have been proposed to establish a Cluster Development Authority to modernize industrial infrastructure, logistics, and supply chains.
The program will also focus on improving access to modern technology and fostering innovation, particularly for small and medium enterprises (SMEs), which will receive special incentives and facilities.
Under the initiative, an apprenticeship program will be introduced to enhance job opportunities for youth, while an e-commerce component will enable businesses to access digital markets.
Authorities added that the development of industrial clusters will help reduce production costs, while improvements in the logistics system are expected to boost business activity.
The government also plans to ensure regulatory facilitation and compliance with international standards, creating a favorable environment for foreign investment.
Officials expect the program to significantly increase exports and industrial output, positioning Punjab as a stronger hub for manufacturing and trade.

Why made in punjab? You want every province to follow suit. Then it will be made in sind , made in kpk, made in baluchistan and later it can go upto made in lahore, made in peshawar, made in karachi and made in quetta. There are many other ways to attract businessmen. This is insane in my humble opinion
