Punjab Govt Launches ‘e-Learn She Earn’ Program to Empower Women

The Punjab government has decided to launch a major initiative aimed at promoting women’s economic empowerment and providing dignified employment opportunities.

Under the program titled ‘e-Learn She Earn’, thousands of women across the province will receive training in modern digital skills to help them earn independently.

The one-year program, with an estimated cost of Rs700 million, will target women aged 15 to 35. Participants will be offered free three-month online courses in high-demand fields.

The training will cover areas such as digital customer care, graphic design, e-commerce store management, digital marketing, and virtual assistance.

In addition to free training, selected participants will also receive laptops, internet access, and a monthly stipend to support their learning process.

Officials said the initiative aims to equip women with market-relevant skills, enabling them to work remotely, start online businesses, and contribute to the digital economy.
