Xiaomi has launched its Redmi A7 lineup with the launch of the Redmi A7 4G and Redmi A7 Pro 4G. The two new smartphones arrive shortly after the recent debut of the Redmi A7 Pro 5G and are aimed at buyers looking for affordable devices with modern features.
Both phones bring large screens, high refresh rates, sizeable batteries, and long-term software support in the entry-level segment.
The Redmi A7 4G features a 6.88-inch LCD display, while the Redmi A7 Pro 4G comes with a slightly larger 6.9-inch panel.
Both devices offer HD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a 240Hz touch sampling rate for smoother scrolling and improved touch response.
Additional hardware features include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, a 3.5mm headphone jack, dual-SIM support, and an IP52 rating for basic dust and splash resistance. Connectivity options on both models include Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, Wi-Fi, and a USB Type-C port.
The Redmi A7 4G is available in Black and Sky Blue colors, and for the Redmi A7 Pro 4G buyers can choose between Sunset Orange and Black finishes.
The Redmi A7 4G and Redmi A7 Pro 4G are powered by the Unisoc T7250 processor. Both devices are paired with up to 4GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 64GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage. Xiaomi has also included a microSD card slot for expandable storage.
The standard Redmi A7 4G runs HyperOS 2 based on Android 15. The Redmi A7 Pro 4G ships with HyperOS 3 based on Android 16.
Xiaomi said the Redmi A7 4G will receive two years of Android updates and four years of security patches. The Redmi A7 Pro 4G is expected to receive four years of Android OS upgrades and six years of security updates.
Both smartphones use the same camera hardware. They feature a 13MP rear main camera and an 8MP front-facing camera for selfies and video calls.
The Redmi A7 4G packs a 5,200mAh battery, while the Redmi A7 Pro 4G includes a larger 6,300mAh unit. Both phones support 15W wired charging and 7.5W reverse wired charging.
The Redmi A7 4G is offered in a single 3GB + 64GB configuration priced at $112. The Redmi A7 Pro 4G comes in a 4GB + 64GB version priced at $123.
