Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi on Friday held a telephone conversation with Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, discussing the evolving regional situation and ongoing diplomatic developments linked to the ceasefire and overall US-Iran engagement efforts.
Both sides exchanged views on recent regional dynamics and the importance of continued diplomatic efforts to reduce tensions and promote stability.
During the call, Ishaq Dar reiterated the need for sustained dialogue and engagement to resolve outstanding issues and support lasting peace in the region at the earliest possible stage.
Araghchi appreciated Pakistan’s consistent and constructive role in facilitating diplomatic communication.
Everyone agreed to remain in close contact as the situation develops.
