FBR’s newly shared list of custom values for the import of old and used smartphones has increased PTA taxes for importers bringing devices into Pakistan. This not only includes Samsung and Apple phones, but also OnePlus and Google devices.
We have talked about Samsung and Apple phones’ newly increased PTA taxes in Pakistan already, so it’s time to shift the spotlight to other brands. Starting off with the Google Pixel 9 lineup, we will compare the new and old PTA taxes charged while importing these phones.
Even though the lineup also includes a Google Pixel 9a, it has not been included in FBR’s list of devices. Here is how the taxes compare between the last January 2026 update and today.
