Honor has confirmed that the Win Turbo smartphone will launch in China on May 29.
The company announced the launch date through a Weibo teaser and also revealed the phone’s rear design. Reports say the launch event will take place at 15:00 local time in China.
The Honor Win Turbo is already available for pre-order in China. The teaser shows a flat frame design, a large horizontal rear camera island, and Win series branding on the back. Reports also say the phone will be offered in Black, White, and Blue color options.
The handset is expected to feature a triple rear camera setup with a 50MP main sensor and optical image stabilization.
Honor has not officially shared the full specifications yet.
However, tipster Digital Chat Station claims the Win Turbo will offer hardware similar to the Honor Power2. The phone could feature a 1.5K LTPS display, a metal frame, and a large 10,080mAh battery.
The device is also expected to skip a built-in cooling fan, unlike some other Win series models.
The Win Turbo appears to continue Honor’s gaming-focused Win series branding, but the leaked hardware suggests a stronger focus on battery life and endurance.
Reports say the phone may use passive cooling instead of an active fan, though Honor has not confirmed the chipset, charging speed, or full camera details yet.
More details are expected when Honor officially unveils the Win Turbo in China on May 29.
