The federal government has called a meeting of the federal cabinet on June 10 to approve the federal budget for the next fiscal year, official sources told ProPakistani.
Sources said the cabinet will review and approve key federal budget documents during the meeting.
A final decision regarding an increase in salaries for government employees is also expected to be taken in the cabinet session, officials added.
The meeting is scheduled to take place at the Parliament House ahead of the National Assembly’s budget session.
Officials say the upcoming cabinet meeting will play a crucial role in finalizing budget-related proposals before their formal presentation in Parliament.
