Sindh Governor Launches Free AI Summer Camp for Students

Sindh Governor Syed Muhammad Nehal Hashmi has announced the launch of a free Artificial Intelligence (AI) Summer Camp for students during the upcoming summer vacations, aiming to equip young people with modern technological and digital skills.

Addressing a press conference at the Governor House, he said the initiative is designed to make students future-ready by providing hands-on AI training at no cost.

He emphasized that even children who can use mobile phones can easily learn AI with the right guidance.

The announcement was made in the presence of Minister of State and Special Assistant to the Prime Minister Fahad Haroon, along with Daniyal Nagori and other notable figures.

The governor highlighted that early exposure to technology is essential in today’s rapidly evolving world. He noted that developed nations invest heavily in education, research, and skill development from an early age, enabling them to lead global innovation.

“Our goal is not only to create job seekers but also to develop job creators,” he said, stressing that AI education can open pathways to higher education, employment opportunities, innovation, and economic empowerment.

He further added that introducing AI and modern skills at the school level will help students adapt to future challenges and contribute to national progress. The Governor assured that Governor House will continue such practical initiatives to connect youth with emerging technologies.

Daniyal Nagori briefed participants that students interested in joining the AI Summer Camp can register online through the official website of Governor Sindh Governor Sindh Official Website.

The initiative is being seen as part of broader efforts to strengthen digital literacy and prepare Pakistan’s youth for a technology-driven future.
