Islamabad Police Launches Hepatitis Screening Camp for Officers

A screening camp for hepatitis and other medical conditions is being conducted at Police Lines Headquarters, Islamabad, to promote preventive healthcare and ensure timely diagnosis for ICT police personnel.

An official told APP on Wednesday that the camp was being organized under the supervision of AIG Logistics Abdul Haq Umrani and District Health Officer Islamabad Dr. Syeda Rashida Batool.

The official said the initiative aimed to safeguard the health of police officers and officials through early detection of diseases and provision of appropriate medical care.

According to the official, medical teams were conducting screening tests for hepatitis and other health conditions, enabling personnel to receive timely medical advice and treatment where required.

The official said the camp reflected Islamabad Police’s commitment to the welfare of its workforce and efforts to promote a healthy working environment.

He said regular health screening and preventive healthcare measures played a vital role in maintaining the operational readiness and well-being of police personnel.
