Nothing Confirms New ‘Phone (4b)’ — Likely Cheaper Than Phone (4a)

Nothing appears to be preparing a new Phone (4b) series after teasing the “(b)” branding across its social media channels. The new (b) series is expected to be more budget friendly than the (a) series phones.

The teaser campaign has started in India, shortly after the company confirmed that it would not release a new CMF phone this year.

Although the teaser campaign is going on in India, the phone will most likely arrive in Pakistan as well, since Nothing and CMF phones have been actively launching in the local market.

First Design Look

Nothing shared a new video that strongly hints at the Phone (4b) name and provides an early look at the handset’s design.

The video shows a sketch of a smartphone linked to the 4b branding.

The rear panel appears to use Nothing’s familiar transparent design, while the sketch suggests that the phone may have a single rear camera.

Flipkart has also launched a microsite featuring the same “(b)” branding.

The listing further indicates that Nothing is preparing to introduce the device in India, although the company has not formally revealed its specifications, price, or launch date.

Expected Position

The Phone (4b) is expected to sit below the Phone (4a) series in Nothing’s smartphone lineup.

It could serve as a lower-priced alternative following the cancellation of a successor to the CMF Phone 2 Pro.

Nothing has not confirmed an international launch as of yet.
