The Punjab Education Foundation (PEF) has announced an online teacher training program during the summer vacations to enhance teaching standards across its partner schools.
According to PEF officials, the Teachers Development Program will begin on July 1 and will be conducted entirely online. The initiative aims to equip teachers with modern teaching methods and professional skills.
Under the new policy, every PEF partner school must register two teachers for the online training. Teachers who complete the program will become master trainers and will later train other teachers in their respective schools.
PEF officials said the initiative is designed to strengthen teachers’ instructional abilities, promote continuous professional development, and improve the overall quality of education in partner schools across Punjab.
The programme reflects the foundation’s continued focus on building teacher capacity through digital learning and modern educational practices.
