Consumers across Pakistan will receive significant relief as the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has announced a substantial reduction in liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) prices for July.
According to an official notification, OGRA has reduced the LPG price by Rs67.33 per kilogram, setting the new consumer price at Rs241.43 per kg.
The regulator has also lowered the price of an 11.8-kilogram domestic LPG cylinder by Rs794.50, bringing its new price to Rs2,848.91.
The revised LPG prices took effect from July 1 and will remain applicable throughout the month.
The price cut is expected to ease the financial burden on households, especially those in areas without access to natural gas, where LPG remains the primary fuel for cooking and heating.
The reduction is likely to provide much-needed relief to domestic consumers amid rising living costs.
