Gold prices staged a sharp recovery in Pakistan on Thursday in line with international rates which also recorded a big increase during the 4th session of the week.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewelers Association, the price of gold per tola in Pakistan increased by Rs. 9,100 to Rs. 428,736.
The price of 10 grams of gold also recovered by Rs. 7,802 to settle at Rs. 367,572.
Gold prices fell by Rs. 5,200 to close at Rs. 419,636 per tola on Wednesday.
In the international market, gold prices gained $91 to settle at $4,063 per ounce.
Silver also increased in value on the same day. It gained Rs. 203 to settle at Rs. 6,445 per tola on Thursday.
