Honor has launched the Honor X7e Plus 5G after introducing the 4G-only Honor X7e in June.
The new model adds 5G connectivity, a larger battery, a Snapdragon chipset, a 120Hz display, and a 50MP rear camera. It has launched in Qatar and Oman, but Honor has not confirmed wider availability yet.
Design and Display
The Honor X7e Plus 5G features a 6.87-inch TFT LCD with an HD+ resolution of 1592 x 720 pixels.
The display supports a 120Hz refresh rate, up to 1,020 nits of peak brightness, Dynamic Dimming, and Eye Comfort modes.
Honor has also added a dedicated AI button. A long press gives users quick access to features such as AI Memory, Circle to Search, AI Eraser, AI Summary, and Smart Recommendations.
The phone measures 168.3 x 78.54 x 8.3mm and weighs 216.5 grams. It comes in Desert Gold, Velvet Black, and Meteor Silver.
The device also carries IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings. Honor’s official Oman page lists IP69K water resistance, SGS Premium Drop Resistance, and 2.5m drop resistance among the phone’s main durability highlights.
Internals and Software
The Honor X7e Plus 5G is powered by the Snapdragon 4 Gen 4 chipset.
It comes with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The phone also supports RAM Turbo, which uses part of the internal storage as virtual RAM for smoother multitasking.
The phone runs Android 16 with MagicOS 10 on top.
Other features include dual SIM support, NFC, Bluetooth 5.1 with LDAC and aptX HD support, USB Type-C, stereo speakers, and a 400 percent volume mode.
The phone also has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
Cameras
The Honor X7e Plus 5G has a 50MP primary camera on the back.
It is paired with an auxiliary sensor. For selfies and video calls, the phone has a 5MP front camera.
Battery and Pricing
The Honor X7e Plus 5G has a typical 8,100 mAh battery with a rated capacity of 7,900mAh.
The phone supports 45W Honor SuperCharge. Honor says the device is designed to operate in temperatures from -30°C to 50°C. The company also claims the battery can retain more than 80 percent of its capacity after years of regular use under its internal testing conditions.
The Honor X7e Plus 5G starts at around $275 for the 6GB + 128GB model.
The 8GB + 256GB variant costs around $300. The phone has also gone official in Oman, but Honor has not announced which other markets will get it.
