Physical Standards for Civilian (Male)

Physical Standards for Ex-Servicemen (Male)

  • Sub Inspector – Age 45 Years
  • Havildar / Naik – Age 40 Years
  • Sepoy – Age 35 years
  • Minimum Height 5′-6″
  • Minimum Chest 33″ with 11/2″ expansion
  • Weight not less than 121 lbs

Physical Standards for Civilian (Female)

  • Age 18 to 30 years (All Ranks)
  • Minimum Height 5′-3″
  • Weight as per medical rules
  • Marital Status: Unmarried (No permission of marriage granted during training period)

The minimum education required for sup-inspector is intermediate. For havaldar and sepoy, the minimum education should be matric and 8th class respectively.

Selection Procedure

After completion of the registration process, the selected candidates will be called for an initial medical and test. The selection procedure consists of the following:

  • Initial Medical
  • Test
  • Interview
  • Final Medical

Initial Medical

In the initial medical, the candidate’s vital information is collected to ensure that they meet the minimum requirements of the post.

Test

Once the medical is done, the candidate’s aptitude is assessed. Most of the questions in the test are regarding general knowledge.

Interview

The candidates who pass the initial medical and the test are called for an interview. The candidates are asked about different aspects of their life.

Final Medical
