Muslims across Pakistan are observing the 18th fast of the holy month of Ramadan 2022 on Wednesday, 20th of April. For convenience, the Sehri and Iftar timings in different cities of Pakistan have been compiled and mentioned below.
Ramadan is much more than just fasting and prayer. It involves bringing change in the personality and conduct of a person. One major act or characteristic that Ramadan cultivates in people is kindness. Being kind is a fundamental aspect of Islam. Islam encourages kindness and compassion towards everyone, irrespective of their color, caste, or religion.
Moreover, the spiritual rewards of every good deed including charity, prayer, good conduct, and acts of kindness are multiplied many times in the month of Ramadan. Kindness can mean different things to different people. It may be through empathy, acceptance, kind gestures, thoughtfulness, etc.
Therefore, this Ramadan, be kind to other people, give charity, find ways to help fellow Muslims, pay for someone’s grocery/food, and be kind to even animals. Hazrat Ayesha (RA) narrates that Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H) said:
A’isha, verily Allah is kind and he loves kindness and confers upon kindness which he does not confer upon severity and does not confer upon anything else besides it (kindness). Muslim
