In an era where people are getting canceled by the minute over their deeply unsettling views, we wonder how ScarJo’s still so big. Scarlett Johansson keeps on courting controversy. From justifying why she deserves to play a trans-man (sorry trans-people, she thinks she can do better), to her recent love for Woody Allen (a creepy old man, period).
While the Black Widow actress called out James Franco at the Women’s March, she’s defending director Woody Allen amidst all the sexual abuse allegations he faces.
Woody Allen has been accused of a number of hideously sick things. With his affair with adopted step-daughter Soon-Yi Previn, to his then seven-year-old daughter’s allegations that he abused her, Woody sure does have some skeletons in his cupboard.
If someone is a likely culprit of sexual harassment, it’s Woody Allen. But ScarJo says she believes him.
Woody Allen was accused of sexual abuse by his daughter, Dylan Farrow. He even lost four court battles in this regard, which prove him guilty. This includes a lawsuit, a disciplinary charge against the prosecutor, and two appeals.
Even now Scarlett Johansson believes the shunned director.
“I believe him, and I would work with him anytime.”

While other actors like Greta Gerwig and Timothée Chalamet no longer want to be associated with the film-maker, ScarJo would work with him ‘anytime‘.
“I have been very direct with him, and he’s very direct with me. He maintains his innocence, and I believe him.”
Scarlett Johansson and Times Up
While the Home Alone 3 actress has only come out with one public incident that made her very uncomfortable, ScarJo was a huge voice in Times Up and the ‘Me Too Movement‘. She called out the hypocrisy of people standing with Me Too and Times Up whilst they too exploit their position and power in the biz.
“How could a person publicly stand by an organization that helps to provide support for victims of sexual assault while privately preying on people who have no power?”

Scarlett Johansson specifically called out James Franco who’s accused of using his position to be inappropriate on set.
“I want my pin back.”
Yet, now she’s doing exactly the opposite of what she preached, standing with a predator or ‘potential predator‘.
Social Media Wants Her Canceled
Most netizens were not happy with ScarJo’s love for Woody Allen.
Woody Allen had sex with his adopted daughter. It's sick, sick, sick…what other relationships did this girl have except with Woody? A predator is what Woody is. Yuck!! And don't tell me they aren't related. Sick, sick, sick
