Hadiqa Kiani and Turkish artist Ali Tolga’s tribute to Kashmir was taken down from YouTube. apparently the single was neither flagged nor anything, simply removed. Pakistani songstress Hadiqa Kiani has dubbed the act ‘systematic silencing’.
The Kamli singer shared what went down in her Instagram story.
“Our tribute to Kashmir was removed from YouTube a few hours ago. There seems to be a systematic silencing taking place but we will not be silenced because our message is of love and peace,”

Active supporters of the Kashmir cause on Facebook know that their posts are often flagged for being inappropriate, graphic, or inciting hate. However, this ‘systematic silencing’ is now extending to YouTube.
The video-sharing platform took down the single ‘Diami Bahar‘ by Hadiqa Kiani and Ali Tolga. The Bohay Baariyan vocalist revealed that the international civil society ‘The Kashmir Civitas‘ is trying to reupload the video.
The Pakistani songstress asserted that this censorship of the Kashmir issue will not silence them. They will continue to preach their message of love and peace.
