Indian playback singer Sonu Nigam couldn’t hold his tears while listening to Pakistan’s young and talented rock star Hadia Hasmi.
In his latest vlog, Sonu Nigam shares his thoughts on the Nescafe Basement hit song Bol Hu by Soch ft Hadiya Hashmi. The song came out in February 2019 and Adnan Dhool and Hadia Hashmi’s vocals left a lasting impact on the listeners.
Hadia Hashmi, who was then only 8 years old, came into limelight with her first-ever performance in Nescafe Basement Season 5. The young star was lauded by many celebrities and fans and the track was hailed as one of the best on the show.

Sonu Nigam on Bol Hu
We already saw Bol Hu working its magic across the border as it went on to feature in Bollywood thriller, Malang. And now the Deewana singer shares how impressed he was with it.
In the video, Sonu Nigam praised both the singers and said he heard something good after a long time. The singer was completely touched by the song and we could see how he was tearing up during the video. Sharing how much the song moved him, he said,
“It’s been a while since anything has touched my soul like this! What a song, what lyrics, what composition! Wah! Soch band, kya soch hai!”
He said that he never thought he would start crying listening to it, but he eventually did. Bol Hu is a masterpiece and Sonu Nigam admits it too.

The Bollywood singer said that the song was sent to him by actor Javed Jaffery. He had listened to it before but this time, he was feeling the emotions more strongly.
Sonu Nigam was surprised that songs like Bol Hu are still being produced and creating an impact on the listeners. He appreciated the talent and art and sent well wishes to Soch and Hadia Hashmi.
