This time around it is finally official! We finally have a The Legend of Maula Jatt release date. This time around, word is that the movie will hit theaters on October, 13, 2022.
The film is by far the most expensive film to come out of Pakistan. Directed by Bilal Lashari, The Legend of Maula Jatt cast Fawad Khan, Mahira Khan, Hamza Ali Abbasi, Humaima Malick, and Mirza Gohar Rasheed in pivotal roles.
With dialogues penned by Nasir Adeeb, the movie is a hard reboot of the 1979 cult classic ‘Maula Jatt’. Produced by Ammara Hikmat, the movie was created under the joint venture of Encyclomedia & Lashari films in association with AAA Motion Pictures.
As per Daily Pakistan, the Waar director revealed the movie’s release date as September, 30, 2022. Meanwhile, Ammara Hikmat posted an Instagram story saying there will be no announcements.
“This time no announcements, only surprises!”
Earlier news of the movie’s release date set for 2022 was shared by film trade analyst Ali Zain. He asserted that The Legend of Maula Jatt will grace the theatres on 30th September 2022. However, this was just his ‘educated guess’.
Word of the film’s production first came out in 2013. The movie was then four years in the making. After that the first teaser was released in 2019. Now the film is finally set to release!
