Veteran actor Abid Ali passed away following health complications from his liver disease. His daughter Rahma Ali broke the unfortunate news of his passing
The legendary actor won millions of hearts with his acting skills and charming personality. Amid the recent fake news of his passing, his actual demise left the country stunned.
Abid Ali’s fans and followers number in the millions in Pakistan. Even the President of Pakistan Dr. Arif Alvi sent out prayers.

Besides his phenomenal acting, Abid Ali was also a director, and producer. He worked on several television and film productions. He debuted as an actor with the PTV drama ‘Jhok Sial‘ in 1973. Yet his most iconic role is probably ‘Dilawar Khan‘ in the 1979 PTV classic Waris.
The showbiz fraternity also shared condolences. Sanam Baloch was among the first to send out prayers.
