Ali Zafar Wears Wife’s Dress To ‘Inspire Women’ [Video]

“I chose to wear my wife’s top to show my love 😊”

Pop star, Ali Zafar wore his wife’s black dress at the HUM Women Leaders Award 2023 as a tribute “to the selfless and inspiring women who’ve dedicated their lives to a mission.”

The singer/songwriter has been on a rampant mission to break the “stone age concepts of mardangi (manliness)” stereotype and his latest efforts to “empower women” has left fans confused.

A clip from the upcoming show went viral in which Zafar gushes as he explained that styling was done by his wife Ayesha Fazli.

Ali Zafar tweeted a picture of his upcoming performance on the HUM TV network with a message stating,

My performance at the HUM TV network women’s awards airs tomorrow where I pay tribute to the selfless and inspiring women who’ve dedicated their lives to a mission. They include the women in my life, my mother, and my wife too. And yes, I chose to wear my wife’s top to show my love 😊

Fans of Ali Zafar didn’t appreciate the gesture, as many called him out for subtly promoting LGBT agenda. Others felt that the renowned artist should just stick making good music instead of “inspiring” women with his dim-witted ideas.

Ali Zafar is a singer-songwriter, model, actor, producer, screenwriter, and artist who needs no introduction. The vocal powerhouse is happily married to Ayesha Fazli. The couple is parents to a boy and a girl.
