Word around tinsel town is that Angelina Jolie is in talks to star in Marvel Studios’ The Eternals. We’re all for the Tomb Raider actress being cast in her first superhero venture.
So far there’s only smoke. All details about Jolie’s character in The Eternals, created by artist Jack Kirby, are being kept hush hush.

About The Eternals
Jack Kirby created The Eternals in 1976. The story is set millions of years ago, when the cosmic beings known as the Celestials genetically experimented on humans to create super-powered individuals. These individuals came to be known as the Eternals, and their counterpart the villainous Deviants.
What followed was a battle over the ages between the two groups. They also warred with Greek, Roman and Norse deities before leaving the Earth to explore the stars. Perhaps the movie version of the Eternals could go against the Asgardians?

Jolie is set to be seen in Maleficent: Mistress of Evil this year. The movie is a sequel to the 2014 Disney film Maleficent. Maleficent 2 release date is October 18. Initially, the film was scheduled for release in 2020 but now it has been pushed up.
