One of the most anticipated films of this year is based on the story of Kulbhushan Yadav. The Indian navy officer had been caught by Pakistani authorities in Balochistan while spying for Indian military intelligence. After facing trial in a Pakistani court, Kalbhushan had been handed the death sentence for espionage. He is currently still in a Pakistani jail.
Dhai Chaal cast Ayesha Omar and Shamoon Abbasi in key roles. The movie also casts the late Rasheed Naz.
The rest of the cast is no less impressive, with names like Adnan Shah Tipu, Taqi Ahmed, Saleem Meraj, Humayoun Ashraf, Areej Chaudhary, Faraz Marri, Jamal Gilani, Pakiza Khan, Anya Hassan, to name a few.
