Summer’s coming up and you know what that means? More popsicles for everyone!

We definitely hear you and you’ll be glad to know that we’ve whipped up this super delicious two-flavored popsicle recipe just for our readers!

But this isn’t your everyday form of popsicles. Rather, these are actually super healthy and nutritious! They are perfect for your kids who tend to be nosy when it comes to eating fruits. They are also the perfect treat to serve your friends.

Ingredients for Popsicle Recipe

Melon slush

  • 4 Melon
  • 1 ½ cups water
  • Juice of half a lemon
  • 3 tbsp Sugar

Strawberry Slush

  • ½ kg of Strawberries
  • 1 ½ cups water
  • 3 tbsp sugar
  • ½ tsp strawberry essence strawberry essence
  • A hint of pink food color

Method

Melon Slush

  • Peel melon, slice them, and freeze to cool.
  • Blend frozen melons with water sugar and lemon juice; ensure your mixture is thick and slushy.

 

  • Pour the melon slush in the popsicle mold (or you could also use a disposable glass, if using disposable glasses)
  • Fill the glass/mold with the mixture, halfway.

Strawberry Slush

  • Blend strawberries the same way as melon slush but instead, add the food coloring and essence. Blend the above ingredients well. Make sure the mixture is thick and slushy.

  • Top this mixture over the half-filled Popsicle mold/disposable glass; you should end up with two layers and shades.

  • Freeze the mixture overnight or for at least 6 hours. And you’re done!

Note: In case you’re using disposable glasses, place an ice cream stick in between, once it is half frozen.
