Actor Feroze Khan is under severe criticism because of the domestic abuse accusations made by his ex-wife, Aliza Sultan, particularly after she submitted proof of the torture that she claims he subjected her to.
A family court in Karachi has directed the police and medical officials to verify the evidence. Judicial Magistrate (East) Sajid Ali Abbasi, also told the SHO of the Darakhshan Police Station and the medico-legal officer of the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre to submit their respective reports by 11 January, and adjourned the hearing.
Aliza Sultan’s counsel, Syed Qasim Shah, requested the court to summon the concerned SHO and the MLO to verify the evidence submitted to the court by his client on the last date. He had submitted the emergency room reports in a case filed by Feroze Khan in October.
Advocate Qasim argued that the Accident and Emergency Department at the JPMC mentioned blunt injuries on both arms, back, chest, and face, and a minor nosebleed in the report in November 2020.
However, last month, Feroze Khan’s lawyer told the press that all the evidence against him was invalid and does not stand for anything in the legal battle. He had also filed a petition against Aliza Sultan for allegedly submitting false documents.
In related news, yesterday, the City Court Karachi ordered Feroze Khan to pay Rs. 80,000 per month to his ex-wife, Aliza Shah, to cover their children’s expenses.
The actor has been told to pay Rs. 50,000 for his son, Sultan, and Rs. 30,000 for his daughter, Fatima, as interim maintenance based on the hearing that was held on the application of the children.
