After naming three culprits in an FIR surrounding the death of Dr. Maha Shah, her father Syed Asif Ali Shah now asserts that an organized gang lures young women into their circle, gets them addicted to drugs, sexually exploits them and then blackmails them.
Initially, after the suicide of the fashion blogger in the upscale neighborhood in Defense Housing authority (DHA), Karachi, her family did not file a formal police report. However when police found evidence of foul play. Syed Asif Ali Shah named Junaid Khan, Dr. Irfan Qureshi, and one other individual in the FIR.
According to The News, police registered FIR No. 432/20 against Junaid Khan, son of Asghar Ali, Waqas Hassan Rizvi, son of Zafar Jamil, and dentist Dr. Irfan Qureshi, Dr. Maha’s co-worker.

An Appeal
In a news conference at his DHA residence on Monday, Dr. Maha Shah’s father said:
“I will fight alone for my daughter. There are too many women like Dr. Maha who want to come forward [with this information].”
He appealed to the judiciary, the Government of Sindh, and Chief of Sindh Police to bust the alleged gang and save lives.
While it was previously reported that Dr. Irfan Qureshi, had been arrested, Junaid Khan roams free. Maha’s father hinted at something else behind the delay in Junaid Khan’s arrest.
“In the coming days I’ll let you all know why Junaid is not being arrested.”
He shared how Junaid had told him about being in a relationship with Dr. Maha over the past four years. While Junaid told Maha’s father that he wanted to marry her, his actions didn’t corroborate the narrative. Syed Asif pleaded to other women to trust their family and be honest.
“If he was really interested in marrying her, why didn’t he send a proposal? These are all fabricated stories, and I’m here with the proofs. …I have lost a daughter, but I have to save other daughters.”

The News reports that the Instagram influencer’s sister also corroborated her father’s statement. She told the police that Junaid Khan had raped her elder sister after giving her drugs at his house, leaving her tormented and distraught.
“During this episode that my sister met with Tabish Qureshi, who also offered to marry her, but when Junaid Khan came to know about the proposal, he began to threaten her incessantly with exposure of the molestation, turning her increasingly distressed.
Following this, she informed her siblings that Junaid Khan, Dr. Irfan, Waqas Hassan Rizvi and two others had messed up her life, and are threatening to dishonour and kill the whole family.”
These animals should be thrown in jail and left to rot indefinitely in case they choose to ruin other lives! How are they not tried and sentenced to death and hanged? Feel bad for the girl who had to endure so much pain at the hands of these barbaric POS!
