Recently, some rumors have been making rounds on social media regarding the drama serial Ishq-e-Zaat. These rumors claimed that Ishq-e-Zaat has been allegedly banned by Pemra for 28 days. I

Turns out there’s not much truth to these rumors. Ishq-e-Zaat is being exclusively aired on LTN Family channel. LTN Family has rubbished all such rumors and called them ‘incorrect’.

How Did The Rumor Start?

An Instagram page named @allpakdramapage posted a photo on their profile recently. They claimed that some inside sources at Pemra have banned the drama Ishq-e-Zaat owing to its plot which revolves around a Sikh boy and Muslim girl falling in love with each other.

LTN Issues Clarification

On Friday 24th May, LTN Family posted this picture on their official Instagram channel and captioned it:

Embarking on a journey of love, their ultimate happiness might always remain incomplete, because of their different religious backgrounds! What will become of Noor and Ammar? Watch #IshqZaat tonight at 8 PM only on #LTNFamily

LTN Family confirmed in an exclusive statement, that no such notice has been issued to them as of yet.

It’s not correct. If this is coming from inside PEMRA, how would we not know?

The post by All Pakistani Drama Page was later removed, with no explanations or clarifications added.

Therefore, fans of Ishq-e-Zaat can rest easy that no ban has been issued by the electronic media watchdog authority.
