Over the years, Pakistan has lost some of its greatest gems. Many of its young people have sacrificed their lives for the sake of their nation and among them shines the name of Aitzaz Hasan Shaheed.
On January 6, 2014, Aitzaz Hasan died while preventing a suicide bomber entering his school and saved almost 2000 lives. His act of valor was honored by the whole country and he was also awarded the Civil Decorations of Pakistan.
Aitzaz Hasan set an incredible example of heroism at the young age of sixteen his name is still fresh in our memories. Many documentaries have been produced in the last five years to pay tribute to his bravery and a film named Salute was also released in December, 2016.
As the death anniversary of the martyr is approaching, the movie will be re-released on January 3, Friday in order to commemorate his heroic act.
Salute is directed by Shehzad Rafique, one of the biggest film directors in Pakistan and is distributed by IMGC Global Entertainment. The movie revolves around the life of young Aitzaz and the role is played by Ali Mohtashem. Salute also stars veteran actors Saima Noor and Ajab Gul.
Rest in peace Aitzaz. We will never forget your sacrifice.
