Despite progress and freedom, we live in a state where people harass each other and knock others down. First we become friends, taking selfies together for memories, then comes the fighting and eventually those selfies, which at one time seemed fun and silly, become the topic of controversy after they get leaked online as a form of revenge. This seems to be a very common trend among celebrities like Komal Rizvi who know the torment all too well.
Komal Rizvi is a famous Pakistani singer who stated that she won’t take selfies with anyone anymore.
She gave her statement during a talk show on Geo. She further said that a lot of her pictures went viral over the internet, which is why she is not going to take selfies with others.
We all know that infamous selfie with Abdul Sethar Edhi at the hospital. Though it was taken in an innocent manner, the public reaction was not what Komal had hoped for.

Komal believes that people have become a victim of harassment in every field. Boys harass girls for their satisfaction without realizing that it destroys the life of the girl.
We criticize our politicians and government to make them responsible for the downfall, but in fact, we all are equally responsible. If we don’t change ourselves, how can we expect others to change?
