Pakistan’s proud Nobel laureate, Malala Yousafzai had one heck of a weekend that most of us could only dream of.
The 25-year-old activist shared highlights from Priyanka Chopra’s pre-Oscar party to celebrate South Asian Excellence. Malala was spotted rubbing shoulders with the who’s who of both Hollywood and Bollywood, including Preity Zinta, Aziz Ansari, Mindy Kaling, as well as Ali Sethi, and the star of Joyland Alina Khan.
The young Pakistani activist summed up her first-ever Oscars weekend as “exhausting but exhilarating”, and it’s easy to see why.

Malala Yousafzai had an eventful week. Priyanka Chopra’s South Asian Excellence bash was just the start as the young Nobel Peace Prize winner attended the 95th Academy Awards, and then met Hollywood royalties at the post-Oscars Vanity Fair Party.
Malala attended her first-ever Oscars as the executive producer of Stranger at the Gate. She initially hoped to represent Pakistan with Saim Syed’s thought-provoking film Joyland but it failed to make the final cut.
Malala Yousafzai shared her thoughts about the glamorous weekend. She said,
Over the last few weeks, I was delighted to meet so many wonderful people. My first Academy Awards was an amazing experience – and I can’t wait to do it again.
