A man in Bahawalpur allegedly killed his pregnant wife and minor stepson to death, because he was ‘tired of having daily arguments’.
Police arrested the accused Muhammad Ali and his brother after the victim’s brother filed a police report. According to police, Muhammad Ali who is from the Basti Maharanwali area of Bahawalnagar, confessed to strangling his pregnant wife and her 11-year-old son.

Muhammad Ali confessed to killing the two victims over ‘daily arguments with his wife‘ and later burying them in the garden of his home.
Bahawalnagar police said a first information report (FIR) of double homicide was filed against the accused and his brother. Following the confession, the accused led the police to where the victims were buried.
Police sources stated that both bodies were recovered and taken into custody before being sent to the hospital for post-mortem.
Both the arrested men said the woman wanted to live in a separate house. She had expressed her wish to move out of her in-law’s home and to live in a separate house with her husband and her son.
This is why there were many arguments between Muhammad Ali and his late wife. The day of the murder, a fight broke out over this very issue. In anger, Muhammad Ali brutally strangled and killed his wife.
When his step-son walked in on the ‘argument’, Muhammad Ali killed him too.
