Just when you think in 365 days a year, and one International Women’s Day and Aurat Azadi March, trolls would be done trolling, they stoop even lower. Journalist Mansoor Ali Khan called the alarm on deliberate misinformation being spread by these trolls.

From misconstruing a singular slogan to discredit the march, to the actual security breach at the Aurat Azadi March in Islamabad, Aurat March 2020 was shrouded by controversy.

How does a peaceful display by women raising awareness about their basic rights, get hounded by controversies and threats?

Mansoor Ali Khan shared how three photoshopped images of just his family were being circulated online.

The journalist pointed out how this libel just affirms the importance of the Aurat March. He remains undeterred.

Here’s some food for thought. When a famous journalist is slandered and trolled with photoshopped images, imagine the threats faced by women every day.

If women are threatened for just voicing their thoughts, surely something is wrong with society.
