Pakistani actress and TV host Maya Khan is a well-known personality in the showbiz industry. Best known for her role as host during special Ramadan transmissions and morning shows, Maya seems like an entertaining figure.
People tune into her shows and Ramadan transmissions to enjoy her lively personality as they always associate her as someone who is having the best time and has a really good life outside of television. However, that is not entirely the case.
Maya has had her fair share of struggles and disappointments. The TV host was married once but that ended in an abrupt divorce. In a recent interview with another TV host Shaista Lodhi, Maya Khan opened up about her personal life and talked about her divorce.
The actress explained the ordeal had been so difficult for her and how she suffered after it. Maya Ali said,
“People say that women in showbiz can’t run their marriage but they can’t see the other side of the picture? The girls who are sitting at home get divorced too. We are on the screen and yes we are criticized for getting divorced but it is our learning that this criticism must not affect us.”

She talked about the reason for her divorce and stated that she has no one to blame or has any regrets because it was a decision she had to make for herself.
“I don’t blame anyone. Why would I blame anyone else? It was my choices.”
The showbiz industry can a tough business when it comes to maintaining both family and career. We hope Maya Khan continues to be part of the showbiz industry and manages to overcome such difficult situations.
