Actress and model, Syeda Mehreen Shah made startling accusations of sexual harassment against director Ahsan Ali Zaidi and Indian producer Raj Gupta.
The up-and-coming actress revealed she was mistreated by the director and the film crew during a shoot in the capital city of Baku, Azerbaijan.
Mehreen released a video message on social media, detailing her horrific experience working with Ahsan Ali Zaidi and Raj Gupta after she refused to comply with their lewd demands.
The young model began the video by stating, “The purpose of making this video is to tell people to be careful. It is my first experience working with Syed Ahsan Ali Zaidi. I met him through a reference and I am sure that person is not involved”.
Mehreen Shah revealed that the producer Raj Gupta kept making inappropriate advances on her, which she ignored. Upon multiple rejections, Raj Gupta and Ahsan Zaidi started mistreating the young Pakistani actress, not even inviting her for dinner or checking up on her wellbeing. Mehreen added,
The amount of stress, anxiety I had to face here, I cannot explain. There was unprofessional behavior on set.
The young actress also revealed that the Indian producer Raj Gupta had a habit of inviting prostitutes to the hotel suite, which made her very uncomfortable. The actress warned her fellow female artists to beware of working with such producers and stated she had to book her own flight and expenses just to get back to Pakistan.
