Mishi Khan Calls Iffat Omar a Hypocrite for Her Silence on Women’s Abuse During Protests [Video]

“Where is Iffat Bibi who screams like a goat in the Aurat March?”

Actress Mishi Khan has called out fellow actress Iffat Omar for being a hypocrite in her feminist beliefs after staying silent about the physical abuse of women by the police during the recent protests.

After the mistreatment of influencer Tayyaba Raja, another clip went viral in which a disabled woman was dragged by almost 30 men, who was protesting the arrest of PTI chairman Imran Khan on Tuesday.

The incident sparked outrage all over social media. However, Iffat, who has always been vocal about women’s right during Aurat March, did not comment on the incident.

Mishi Khan recorded a video message for Iffat Omar on Instagram as she taunted her in the caption. She wrote,

Look at this horrible scene where a woman is dragged by almost 30 men. Where is Iffat Bibi who screams like a goat in the Aurat March singing for their rights or you only raise your voice for a selected few who you can get some benefits. Hypocrite

Mishi also shared the clip of the disabled woman being dragged by the police, sparked a broader conversation about the intersection of politics and feminism, as well as the expectations placed on public figures to use their platform for social change.

Mishi’s message garnered attention from netizens, with many engaging in a discussion about the role of celebrities in speaking up for women’s rights and the need for consistency in their activism. Some individuals supported Khan’s stance, urging Omar to address the issue and raise her voice against the alleged abuse.

Imran Khan was arrested ‘unjustly’ on Tuesday but has since been released. To celebrate the moment, Mishi Khan decided to post another clip where she poked fun at not just Iffat Omar but also Reham Khan.
